Ted Johnson joined IBG in 2000, following a 12-year career in chemical engineering. He has a wealth of experience and has successfully marketed a variety of manufacturing, distribution, and business-to-business service companies. Ted is fluent in Spanish and has presented technical seminars and conducted business in seven Latin American countries.
Ted spent 12 years working for two world-class chemical companies: Union Carbide and Lonza Group. He held several positions with sales and marketing responsibilities for much of the western U.S. and Mexico. During this time, Ted also negotiated numerous multi-million dollar contracts, managed scores of distributor relationships and received awards for the successful rollout of new chemical programs in both the U.S. and Mexico.
